Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of getting a site to rank within the organic or natural search results of a search engine for any given search phrase. The process will generally take 4 to 6 months to rank for 10 to 30 search phrases but traffic improvements can generally be expected beginning with the first month.

Valuation of an SEO service provider should be based on measurable effects, not intuition. For example, the sample shown below represents rank that we achieved for the phrase "Mobile Billboards" for SignEvent.com. Mobile billboards can be qualified as a viable phrase for the site since it is offered by the service provider and has a broad matching average global monthly search volume of 8100.
